Maria Muldaur and Electric Rubyfish Appearing Live at The Falcon for a CD Release Celebration

Maria Muldaur and Electric Rubyfish take the stage at The Falcon in Marlboro, NY on Thursday, July 19th at 7pm. Taking a small detour from promoting her own CD ‘Steady Love,’ Maria joins Electric Rubyfish as they celebrate the release of their new CD ‘Willing Hearts’ which also features Ms. Muldaur on several tracks.

Maria Muldaur is best known world wide for her '74 mega-hit ‘Midnight at the Oasis,’ which received several Grammy nominations, and enshrined her forever in the hearts of Baby Boomers everywhere. Despite her considerable Pop Music success, her 49-year career could best be described as a long and adventurous odyssey through the various forms of American Roots Music. Her timely 2008 album, ‘Yes We Can!’ featured songs from some of the most socially conscious songwriters of the past half century: Bob Dylan, Marvin Gaye, Allen Toussaint, Garth Brooks and others, and featured her “Women’s Voices for Peace Choir,” which included: Bonnie Raitt, Joan, Baez, Jane Fonda, Odetta, Phoebe Snow, Holly Near and others.

Electric Rubyfish is an Independent (Indie) Rock band based in the Hudson Valley. Their music is a blend of Rock, Folk, with Jazz undertones. Electric Rubyfish has released four CDs to date, and have appeared in venues from BB King Blues Club and Grill to opening for Jefferson Starship at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, NY. They’re celebrating their fourth CD release ‘Willing Hearts’

Electric Rubyfish will open the show at The Falcon to get things started. Maria will join them on stage for a few numbers during their opening set. The show continues as Maria brings her own ensemble the Red Hot Bluesiana Band to the stage for this evening of great entertainment. Maria Muldaur is available for interviews.
